The Correlation of Different Intensities Exercise on Telomere Length

چکیده

Many studies have been conducted to establish the connection between exercise and telomere length, but still varying results. Telomeres are reiterative DNA sequences (5'-TTAGGGn-3') which function protect genomic from enzymatic degradation. Telomere length can be used as a biomarker of aging because its repetitive structures known highly relevant in cellular process shortening telomeres that occurs with increasing age is considered an important contributor organisms. Several factors affect oxidative stress, chronic inflammation, BMI, lifestyle such smoking, alcohol intake, increased insulin resistance, exercise. This study aims determine correlation at different intensities on length. The method this internet search for journals articles through several websites. eligible criteria include English language published 2012 2022. report were selected systematic literature review. As result, people who perform moderate vigorous physical activity more their leisure time, longer leukocyte (LTL) long-term resistance training may exert protective effect muscle elderly. reported prevention certain intensity successfully.

Effect of Different Exercise Intensities on the Myotendinous Junction Plasticity

Myotendinous junctions (MTJs) are anatomical regions specialized in transmission of contractile strength from muscle to tendon and, for this reason, a common site where acute injuries occur during sport activities. In this work we investigated the influence of exercise intensity on MTJ plasticity, as well as on the expression of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and transforming growth facto...

The Effect of Different Endurance Exercise Intensities on the Expression of RIP140 Protein in Visceral Adipose Tissue in Diabetic Rats

Objective: RIP140 is one of the proteins that play a role in regulating and metabolizing lipid droplets. The aim of this study was to compare the three endurance training intensities (low, moderate and high) on the expression of RIP140 protein in visceral adipose tissue and insulin resistance in male diabetic wistar rats. Materials and Methods: Forty male wistar rats were assigned to five grou...

Heart Reaction to Nandrolone Decanoate plus Two Different Intensities of Endurance Exercise: Electrocardiography and Stereological Approach

Background: Regarding the negative effects of androgenic anabolic steroids (AASs) abuse, the long-term effect of nandrolone decanoate with/without two intensities of endurance exercise training was investigated on heart tissue and electrocardiogram (ECG) in rats. Methods: The experiment was conducted on 63 male Wistar rats, which were 4 months old. The rats were divide into groups of control (C...

The Power of Exercise: Buffering the Effect of Chronic Stress on Telomere Length

BACKGROUND Chronic psychological stress is associated with detrimental effects on physical health, and may operate in part through accelerated cell aging, as indexed by shorter telomeres at the ends of chromosomes. However, not all people under stress have distinctly short telomeres, and we examined whether exercise can serve a stress-buffering function. We predicted that chronic stress would b...
